37 hours per week for 38 weeks per year

We require an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to support the development of effective improving careers education, information, advice and guidance for our young people.

Key responsibilities

a. Providing administrative and organisational support to Careers, Work Related & Enterprise Learning and CPD for Teaching and Associate Staff.
b. Operating the post-16 PLT curriculum under the guidance of the Assistant Principal (Post-16), including liaising with colleges, students, parents, staff & Training Providers, coordinating transport to and from placements & acting as an in-school mentor to students engaged in WREL
c. High level administrative support for the planning, delivery & evaluation of Work Experience, including guiding students with choices & liaising with parents, Employers & Careers South West as appropriate
d. Under the guidance of a line manager, to organise long term work experience placements (e.g. as part of Applied Learning courses, or for potential NEET students),and co-ordinate transport
e. Act as an in-school mentor for students enrolled on off-site work related programmes
