Curriculum Statement

The Hele’s School curriculum comprises all learning and other experiences that we provide for our learners. This includes the National Curriculum, religious education, collective worship, sex and relationships education, drug and health education, careers education, extra-curricular activities and wider out-of-classroom learning, both home and abroad

Hele’s strives to be a school at which success, aspiration, challenge, inclusion, enjoyment and a sense of personal well-being are our continuing hallmarks, ensuring that all learners are supported into meaningful adult lives.

We are committed to the development of the whole child, and hence we pay high regard to the social and emotional aspects of learning; we want all young people to feel safe, to feel valued, to have confidence and pride in their abilities, to develop effective Learning Habits, and feel that they have a positive and worthwhile contribution to make to the world in which they live. Every child is supported to be the best that they can be.
