Welcome to Hele’s music department web site.

All pupils take music in years 7 – 9. A single one hour in years 7 and 9 and two one hour lessons in year 8. Music is an option for both GCSE and A level.

Pupils who wish to have instrumental tuition can do so through the school.  We can offer tuition in all instruments.

There are two music rooms, 34 and 35.  There is also a suite of 4 practice rooms, one of which is a large room for drums and steel pans.  Room 34 is equipped with 12 music computers and is used for ICT work mainly in years 9 and above.
