All institutions holding data are subject to recently revised regulations about how the data is shared. You need to be aware of this legislation which can be viewed in summary HERE (link to Layer 1) or in detail HERE (link to Layer 2). 

 

Schools are now required to supply contact information, which will be collected termly, for ContactPoint, under section 12 of the Children Act 2004.  ContactPoint is a key element of the “Every Child Matters” programme.
