JOB TITLE:                           Premises Manager

CURRENT LOCATION:     Hele’s School, but may be deployed across the Trust

 

SALARY:                               WeST Grade E (£23,369 - £26,317)   

 

HOURS:                                37 hours, all year

This is an exciting opportunity to join Hele’s School, part of the newly created Westcountry Schools Trust, currently employing approximately 1800 staff and growing. We are a dynamic organisation with our students and staff at our heart. Built on an extensive track record of excellence, the Trust combines a range of secondary colleges, primary schools and business units based in a variety of sites across Devon and Cornwall. We are also a stone’s throw from some of the best beaches and countryside in the country.

As Premises Manager you will be responsible for the management of the school site, provision of compliance, maintenance and security services on school premises thereby ensuring a safe working environment. You will also be responsible for the management of caretaking/cleaning support staff including the allocation and monitoring of work and performance appraisal as well as overseeing contractors on site. You will be expected to embrace a positive Health and Safety culture.
