My favourite subjects at school were Drama, philosophy and ethics, and English literature. I performed in the annual school music from year 10-13, and found myself loving music and theatre more each year. I did my BA at Falmouth University, my MA at Plymouth Marjon and I am now looking at where to do my PhD. :) 

I got my job doing student recruitment at dBs Institute after completing my MA. I love this job: I get access to travel nationally, I can access music production spaces for free, and I have a free parking space in the centre of town LOL. 

Most importantly, I get to have meaningful conversations with young musicians and producers on a regular basis which really inspires me and makes me feel optimistic about the future state of the UK music industry.  

I also work as a freelance composer, I release music independently and I play keys in a band.
