Autumn is here!

Autumn is here!

Hey! You! Yes you! Are you looking for some fun and spooky ideas to do for Halloween and the Autumn season? You are!? Well then, read ahead, with caution… (Jumpscares may be included)

You may be wondering where you can go and what you can do this autumn season?

Firstly, maybe try baking some creepy cupcakes? Or figure out what cursed costume you are going to wear whilst trick or treating with your friends or family! Or possibly decorate your house and bedroom with some scary but fun decorations before Halloween hits! This could be changing your duvet cover to one with a spooky design instead or buying fake autumnal leaves to litter around your room! Whatever you decide to do; be creative and of course, scary!

Another frightening activity could be going to a Halloween horror maze! Luckily, we have one not far from here: The Cornish Maize Maze. Make sure to visit there on October 28th for the spine-tingling experience. If that's a bit too scary for you, maybe carve some funny looking pumpkins to go outside of your own haunted house on Halloween night!

Next, we have Saltram as well as other National Trust locations!! During October, most of these places have lots of fun Halloween hunts and activities to participate in! Some even have transformed their houses into haunted houses so go and get scared!

And the final location is Dartmoor Zoo which is hosting Boo at The Zoo! This is where the Zoo gates open after dark to see the animals creeping around out of sight. This event is happening on the nights of October 27th and 28th so make sure to book tickets for a truly FANG-tastic night at the Zoo!

Thank you for reading my article and I hope you all have a terrific Halloween and Autumn! And make sure to prepare for the scariest October 31st of your life…
