Hele's School

Hele's School A great place to learn. A great place to grow.

🎉 Outstanding A Level and Level 3 Results 2026! 🎉

We are incredibly proud of our students for achieving one of the strongest attainment profiles in the school's history!

🌟 A*-A grades increased to 22.2%

🌟 A*-B grades accounted for over half of the grades achieved
🌟 A*-C grades rose significantly to 88.5% and well above national
🌟 Average grade improved to B-

Particularly pleasing are the exceptional outcomes for our SEND students, who achieved an average grade of B=, and the strong performance of our disadvantaged students, who achieved results in line with, and in some measures above, the overall cohort.

These fantastic results reflect the hard work, resilience and ambition of our students, alongside the unwavering support of our staff, families and wider school community.

Among the many outstanding achievements this year are several students whose individual journeys embody the values of Hele's School.

Head Boy Oscar Rayner achieved an exceptional A*A*A, securing top grades in Art, English and Mathematics. Oscar will progress to the University of Exeter to study English.

Iulia Pop achieved A*AAA and will also go on to study English at the University of Exeter.

Walter Poon, who joined Hele's from Hong Kong at the end of Year 10, achieved A*AAA, including outstanding results in Mathematics and the sciences. Walter will progress to the University of Bristol to study Dentistry.

Keira Goodwin secured an excellent A*AA and will progress to Cardiff University to study Accountancy and Finance; an exceptional achievement following a year of personal challenges.

Beyond academic success, the cohort also demonstrated the strong sense of community that characterises Hele's Sixth Form. Roma Boyes, who will study Primary Education with QTS at Liverpool Hope University, was recognised not only for her excellent academic achievements but also for the selfless support she provided to fellow students throughout her time in the Sixth Form.

As students prepare for the next stage of their lives, Hele's School is celebrating not only impressive outcomes but also the continued strengthening of its Sixth Form provision. The 2026 results demonstrate that the school's investment in high-quality teaching, student support and inclusive opportunities is translating into sustained improvements and life-changing outcomes for young people.

Congratulations to all our students as they take their next steps into university, apprenticeships, employment and further training. We are incredibly proud of you! 💙
