Virtual Sports Week
This year Hele’s School are running a virtual sports week to replace our annual sports day. Although we unfortunately cannot make the trip to Brickfields this year we recognise the importance of keeping active to benefit our physical and mental health. There will be 12 sporting challenges which students, family members and staff can attempt throughout the week beginning 6th July. We hope as many students, parents/carers, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunties, grandparents, teachers and support staff get involved and have fun!
On Monday 6th July students will receive links to the 12 virtual sporting challenges on ClassCharts under PE homework. Challenges involve throwing, catching, kicking, jumping, walking, running, cycling and other sporting movements varying in difficulty level. Students can compete in as many challenges as they want (anyone who completes all 12 will get a special mention!). Students will need to click the link of each challenge and login to Microsoft Forms using their school email address and password. There the student will be greeted by one of our fabulous teaching staff explaining what they need to do for the challenge. Competitors will have the whole week (up to and including Sunday 12th July) to attempt the challenge and upload their score to the Microsoft Form. Family members can upload their score through the student’s email. If possible we would like the competitor to upload some evidence of them completing the challenge, although this is not compulsory. This will be explained in the description on the Microsoft Form.
At the end of the week results will be collated, and winners will be announced for each year group and house! Good luck and have fun!
